Wembury Beach is a beach in Devon, England.

The stunning beach of Wembury offers both stunning vistas and abundant shore life for the avid explorer. With a backdrop of Devonshire hills and the Wembury Church, the beach is mostly sandy, although some areas are rocky and full of shingle. As the tide rolls out, an enormous expanse of clean sand is visible – ideal for uncovering the rockpools full of incredible sea animals like crabs, anemones, starfish, pipefish, sea scorpions, and green sea urchins. Surfing is a big draw for the beach, as locals from Plymouth flock to its shores on the weekend. Keen snorkelers and divers explore the amazing reefs nearby, while Wembury Sailing Club proudly uses the area as its home. The ocean is shallow enough for paddleboarding and wave-riding, however, youngsters should be supervised as there is no lifeguard present. With pristine waters, Wembury beach is an incredible place to experience the beauty of nature. Looking out to the sea, you can spot the Mewstone, owned by the National Trust. During the summer, it serves as a sanctuary for basking sharks – a unique sight well worth witnessing. To the east of the beach lies the South West Coastal Path, from which a ferry takes you to Noss Mayo.
