If you are looking for a secluded and peaceful beach, then you must check out Sillery Sands! Located just east of Lynmouth, this beach sits at the base of high verdant cliffs, leading to Foreland Point. As the tide reaches low levels, a wide expanse of sand appears – accompanied by some stunning boulders and shingle. What’s more, the beach is also popular among nudists, who tend to flock to the far / north eastern end of the beach. Just be aware that accessing the beach can be tricky. The easiest route is to park near Countisbury Hill and take the coast path that leads down a steep track. Unfortunately, due to a recent landslide, the beach has become inaccessible on foot. It is not recommended to try walking along the foreshore from Lynmouth either, as the terrain is difficult and can be easily cut off by the tide.
