Tucked away along a stunningly beautiful stretch of National Trust owned coast, across the waters from Salcombe, lies this amazing beach. You’ll find two beaches side by side, Seacombe Sands (Gara Rock) and Rickham Sand (also known as Abraham’s Hole). As the tide comes in the smaller beach partially disappears, while the larger one is filled with incredibly fine golden sand. To get here you can simply take a scenic coastal walk from East Portlemouth, or you could drive to Gara Rock. On Deckler’s Cliff right behind the beach there are visible remains of ancient field systems dating all the way back to the Bronze Age!
