Sandy Cove is a beach in Devon, England.

This delightful and private little cove at the north-western corner of Devon, Sandy Bay is found on the western shore of Lee Bay. Although no-one would call the beach here sandy, compared to Lee Bay beach it certainly could be! Unfortunately it is not suitable for full on bathing as there is no lifeguard service and the currents are quite strong.Sandy Cove is also famously known for its history of smuggling. It is said to be the spot where Hannibal Richards kept lookout for the Revenue men, and the large gap between the rocks was used as a hiding place.
