This shingle beach stretching from Greenhill to Bowleaze Cove, moments away from Weymouth, is a gem of a spot. Calm, shallow waters and a reef lapping the shore make it a perfect spot for sea anglers and dog walkers alike. Despite being located close to bustling Weymouth beach, it is much quieter here. Just behind the beach is the charming RSPB Lodmoor, where salt marshes, reed beds and wet grasslands form the backdrop to the abundant local bird wildlife, including one of the most remarkable breeding sites for terns in the whole South West.
