Porthleven Beach is a beach in Cornwall, England.

Welcome to the beautiful stretch of beach near Porthleven harbour! This beach is characterized by its coarse sand and steep shelving, making it much smaller during high tide. Unfortunately, swimming is not safe and can be quite dangerous, as indicated by the famous Loe Bar stretch which has had many unfortunate as well as advisory tales attached to it. Porthleven is without a doubt one of the strongest surfing spots in the UK, yet it is not for the inexperienced as the reef is shallow and therefore should not be taken lightly.
