Perranporth Beach is a beautiful sight to behold – with miles of golden sand, perfect surf and absolutely everything you’d expect from a seaside resort. Even the pub rests gloriously on the beach – renowned as the Watering Hole. For easy access, you can park the car up almost right on the sand, which is just one of the things that make Perranporth so popular. At low tide, you can explore a huge stretch of beach that extends from Droskyn Point to Penhale Point, spanning over 2 miles. The area behind the coastline is flush with dunes and exclusive wildlife – everything from lizards to butterflies. There are also fascinating rock formations at the southern side; large arches, stacks and Chapel Rock with a small tidal pool. Perranporth may become quite busy during the summer months – but the beach is so vast, it’s still easy to find a secluded spot all for yourself.
