The secluded Newton’s cove is the perfect destination for anyone seeking respite from the busy crowded beaches. This shingle beach offers plenty of rock pools for exploration and is backed by a modern promenade, making it easily accessible from Nothe Fort. In addition, the shoreline of the cove has been designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) as it contains a rare geological formation known as the Nothe series.
