Eypemouth beach is the perfect place to escape and soak in the breathtaking views of the stunningly picturesque Jurassic Coast. It’s a mix of soft gravel and shingle, with the occasional patch of sand appearing occasionally thanks to the shifting tidal movement. When visiting the beach, stay a safe distance from the blue lias clay cliffs, as they may be unstable and prone to landslides. The beach is a great spot to cool off in the summer with swimming and surfing, as well as a great year-round spot for fishing. There are also plenty of opportunities for cliff-top walking, including access to the nearby South West Coast Path. To get to the beach just follow the signs to Lower Eype from the Bridport bypass. The beach is located right next to a private, rural car park with paths and steps leading to the beach itself.
