Clovelly offers a unique experience with a small pebble beach, nestled beneath the picturesque car-free village. The beach is also protected from potent waves by a harbour wall. Accessing the beach can be done by going down the steep, cobbled streets but one can opt for a more convenient option – the Land Rover service which takes visitors down to the Red Lion Pub from the car park at the top of the village. This unique alternative preserves the unique charm of the village. You’ll find the necessary amenities, i.e. public toilets,shops, pubs and restaurants, in the village. Not to mention, Clovelly beach is located right alongside the stunning Southwest Coast Path – and the section from Clovelly to Mouthmill is nothing short of breathtaking.
