Heddon’s Mouth Beach is a beach in Devon, England.

Tucked away between Combe Martin and Lynton on the picturesque North Devon coast, you will find Heddon’s Mouth – a rocky cove carved out by the mouth of the River Heddon. Super sized pebbles make up the shore, with the river running through the middle of the beach and cliffs flanking either side. This more remote spot is mostly visited by ramblers these days, but it was once the go-to hideaway of smugglers. Through WWII, the isolated nature of the cove even harbouring a German U-Boat looking for freshwater and a peaceful break.
