Mupe Bay is a beach in Dorset, England.

Forget the hustle and bustle of popular Lulworth Cove, just around the corner you’ll find the hidden gem of Mupe Bay. Offering a tranquil crescent shaped beach with towering white chalk cliffs at one end and the distinctive string of Mupe Rocks to the west. At high tide you’ll find mostly rocks and shingle but as the tide recedes you’ll uncover a good stretch of sand along with Mupe Ledge, a flat rocky area filled with rockpools. Accessing this stunning spot requires a mild walk and a scramble down the cliff path – the most straightforward route is to park at the church in Lulworth village or you can take a leisurely 2 mile stroll around the bay from Lulworth Cove. Please check if it’s open before you set off as it is Ministry of Defence land and keep an eye out for signage or warnings – and don’t forget not to touch anything as it could be fatal!
