Rockley Sands is a gorgeous beach located near Hamworthy with amazing views of Poole Harbour and the Purbecks. Stretching just 150 metres long, the sandy beach is accompanied by tidal mud flats at low tide. Whilst swimming isn’t recommended due to strong currents, it is the ideal place to take your pup for a play in the dog-friendly exercise area! After you’ve taken in the sun, sea and sand, why not take a short stroll down the coast and explore the secluded nature reserve of Ham Common? Follow the tranquil lake for a peaceful, relaxing walk. Don’t worry about parking – there are spaces for about 30 cars right near the beach. Should you need refreshments, a beach shop and café can be found nearby along with toilets.
